Welcome
Welcome to Redemption! We’re a community focused on Jesus, friendship, and life-transformation. We come from many backgrounds, called together by Christ. We hope this website gives you an idea of who we are and what we believe, but most importantly, we’d love to meet you! We invite you to join us this Sunday.

What to Expect
Our Space & Atmosphere
We meet at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Orland Park. Most people dress casually, while a few dress more formally. Come however you’re comfortable.
Children
We welcome and enjoy having children in our main worship service! Fussing babies, distracted kids, and tired parents are all normal for us. Children’s Church for ages 3-7 is also available for the middle portion of the worship service (about 40 minutes).
Our Worship
Because we were created to love and be loved by God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — worshiping Him together is what makes Redemption a church. Gathered worship is marked by rest and joy as we receive and respond to God’s grace. We do so in reading Scripture, hearing it preached, singing songs, praying together, and celebrating the Lord’s Supper.
Some parts of our worship feel old – such as reading ancient creeds and singing hymns – while others feel quite modern. This is intentional. Redemption Church is part of a story much bigger than ourselves. God has been at work saving His people from the beginning until now, and we’re called to remember the breadth and depth of the story into which He’s invited us. This means neither neglecting the riches of the Church’s past, nor the beauty of the present. You’ll notice that our worship services reflect this by blending old and new songs and prayers.
